Migration without a hitch

Leaving his meeting, Jae Song was notified that the user migration process had been completed and everything was up and working.

Song, who is the Information Technology Business Lead at Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies (OACAS), was astounded by how fast and resourceful the Quartet reps were able to perform the migration process for their users.

Amid a hectic and tight schedule, Song requested Quartet for the migration of users who were moving offices and needed the installation and setup of their existing equipment and technology in their new space.

“I just wanted to thank you and also need to learn from your HR where you get all these talented people,” says Song.

Migrating users can be a administrative nightmare if done incorrectly. This can be compounded with new employees, new infrastructure, and the constant shuffle and disorganization of going back to work in the New Year.

Accounting for the proper infrastructure, moving technology and proper setup in new spaces can pose a problem for any company. Luckily we have the experience and expertise of knowing what to do and how to do it properly.

A longtime client of ours, we were already familiar with their existing infrastructure and had performed the necessary background and research to ensure that everything would be properly done with minimal supervision on our client’s part and the guarantee that we’d continue to deliver the service they come to expect from us.

“They go beyond my somewhat hectic schedule.  They are finishing up the last move and I didn’t have to do much at all – matter of fact I was in a meeting the entire time,” says Song.
