About Us
Quartet Service Inc. provides IT infrastructure services to the GTA’s business community. Services include remote and on-site support, network, telephony and server management and consulting. We have 65 employees, our median client has 54 employess and our largest client has almost 6,000 employees. Most of our services are retainer based, but we also have an active special projects and consulting division.

Quartet has invested over $13 million in IT infrastructure for our clients to use on a multi-tenant basis. This includes hosted telephone systems, hosted virtual servers, managed security devices and a private internet network. Clients avoid capital costs, enjoy greater performance and have more service flexibility. We leverage economies of skill and scale to provide excellent value and consistent service. Our mid-tier clients utilize our shared infrastructure services.

Service Model
Quartet has an unbundled approach to IT infrastructure services. Our contention is that our economies of skill and scale as IT specialists should be sufficient to bring both cost savings and profits. This approach has lead to open and frequent communication with our clients and a flexible business model. One example is our service “mass customization” option. Our 30-odd services can be purchased a-la-carte, by employee, and SLA’s can be modified to suit budgets and service requirements. With this disciplined flexibility, our clients get better value from Quartet and ultimately get better value from technology.
We leverage geographic proximity and our centralized support infrastructure to ensure service quality and minimize travel expenses. Some of our larger clients have at least one on-site ‘Quarteter,’ who has local backup to ensure continuity through holidays, staff turnover and emergencies. Your ‘Quarteter’ will be supported by a system that includes a Service Desk, server monitoring, after hours emergency response and other features. They are also supported by our network, telephony, server and project specialists who provide technical backup and are available for special projects as required. We call it “polarized service” (strong local/strong central) and it reduces your IT costs and risks.

Quartet’s ability to work well with external organizations is one of its strengths. Through these relationships, we leverage financial, managerial and technical capabilities. Quartet has formalized partnerships with Cisco, Microsoft, HP, IBM and Research In Motion.
